"Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki also talks about some of the social norms put into place. "Go to school, get good grades, go to college, get a well paying, secure, stable job." Some people say they're not driven by money and they don't care about it... but they spend a majority of their lives working for it. I might be going off on a tangent here... but anyway, props on helping out your brother.
